Cadets at the US
Air Force and US Naval Academies gave John Graham standing ovations for
his speeches there on moral leadership. "The only mistake you can
make," John told the cadets and midshipmen, "is to settle for an
ordinary life, to just look out for Number One, to grow up and live and
die without every having made a difference."

November 2007 saw the launch of Giraffes Kyrgizstan, whoses mission is to move more and more citizens of that troubled country, especially rural youth, into courageous, caring action to help solve the public problems they care about. It's initial funding includes an $18,000 grant from the U.S. Embassy. The initiative was formed after conversations between John Graham and Timur Baiserkeev, the Kyrgiz organizer. Graham continues to advise the group. |
